Sainsbury’s challenged us to roll-out an all new floral department while cutting test store costs in half. 

Success factors

  • Extensive value engineering to reduce materials and simplify manufacturing.  
  • Design for flat pack to gain shipping efficiencies while ensuring fixtures are still quick to assemble.
  • Maximise interchangeability of parts and modularity for multiple formats. 
  • Provide a blended supply option, mixing Eastern Europe supply for speed and China for lowest cost to meet delivery requirements and the lowest costs.
