Consumer products company Braun GmbH (a wholly owned subsidiary of Procter & Gamble) invited Displayplan to pitch creative designs for retail point of sale pop-up shops to be used globally, with particular benefit to China.
Braun wanted a solution which blended their brand equity with practical in-store customer experience requirements. A modular system of large format, high visibility digital signage
attracting footfall and promote sales. A core requirement was the capability to schedule and stream promotional videos to reflect brand messages and seasonal offers.
On-site Digital: Managed Digital Signage plus Lift & Learn technology
Displayplan’s in-house digital design team proposed a blended solution to meet Braun’s requirements and won a leading industry award.
Braun opted for a modular, large format 4 screen video wall in a single clean arrangement that was also scalable for all formats. At the heart of the solution was a fully updateable content delivery system.
Leveraging Connie, Displayplan’s intelligent content management system, Displayplan provided Braun with full campaign management services comprised of video streaming with real-time remote screen status monitoring and both remote and in-store reactive maintenance.
The solution was successfully installed in China stores and then globally, in stores across Asia, Europe and the UK.
The integrated, dynamic digital pop-up shop format has moved the Braun brand outside department stores into more public spaces. The stopping power of digital signage combined with the use of touch screens and lift-and-learn stations has helped Braun achieve 20% and greater sales growth over previous nearby in-store shop-in-shop installations.
Brand content is consistently customised by Displayplan for maximum impact at a local level.
