Retail Design Expo (RDE) has come and gone for another year… and what an event it was.
The annual show grows in strength and numbers each year, and we felt privileged to again be a part of it.
The event kicked off on Monday 8th May with a vast variety of companies visible and some great speeches taking place throughout the day. Lynda Locke, our Commercial Director, spoke with Hasbro about ‘why physical retail remains important.’ The talk was a great success and it even saw Pinkie Pie, herself, attend! Lynda commented: “It was great to speak at RDE. I like to think our brand-focused presentation brought insight to, what seemed, a retailer-oriented crowd.”
Dudley Roberts, Displayplan Creative Director, and a fleet of conceptual and technical designers manned our stand on the Designers Pavilion.
The stand provided fantastic impact on the show floor, complete with a 65 inch attract screen and lightboxes providing further information. We even had some ‘old school’ view masters, which displayed more examples of our projects. The view masters made a great addition to the stand and added an extra element to the clean and attractive design. “It was a great experience to be in the RDE Designer Pavilion for the first time. We spoke to some very interesting people and are looking forward to working on new projects – with both new and existing clients” said Dudley.
Watch this space, for great new projects as they appear on the website.
See you next year!
